October 20, 20223 yr Author Regarding helicopters: a push down pedal seems to me an order of magnitude better and easier than a push forward pedal (less annoyance when keeping a steady force for a long time). TM Pendular (expensive). VKB-Sim T-Rudder Pedals Mk.IV (cheap). Both are of high quality. The VKB has no toe brakes which I have learned to do without on planes by using two hand levers when necessary for differential breaking. And the handy grey rotating lever on my Warthog for applying proportional and equal braking on both left and right. I find it easier to modulate a precise brake pressure with that Warthog grey hand lever than with the feet. At that point I'm not using the stick or yoke so I have one hand free. One hand on throttle, one hand on brakes, and two feet on the yaw pedals. The Pendular is probably a more reasonable and higher quality system, but expensive. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Most controllers, like mine, are not suitable for a realistic helicopter flight model. My stick is too short for fine adjustments and is spring centered.
