The A310 alone is worth the price you're paying...which is.....not much.

Another unbelievable value add.

I'll take the Beaver as long as it's not a Milviz 'Lite' version. I'll also see what the Bell is like but I probably won't download the rest.

This. So. Much.

Laminar Research customer -- Asobo/MS customer -- not an X-Aviation customer - or am I? 😉

I'm looking forward to the DHC-2, Grumman Goose and the A310. The Hughes H-4, the Ryan and the Wright Flyer will get flight or two, more out of curiosity than anything else.  I'll reserve judgement on the DC3 - I hope it lives up to everyone's expectations, but we shall see. Gliding is going to be enormous fun, given MSFS's gorgeous scenery below.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

iniBuilds would probably be charging over $60 USD for their A310. That's the price for the standard version of MSFS.  What a sweet deal we are getting, for a free iniBuilds A310!

Can't agree with that.

Third party developers still need to be paid for their work. MS is using their incredible financial might to purchase these extra add-ons on our behalf as a loss leader. This enables MS to get us consumers to 'buy-in' to the MSFS platform and hopefully (for them) generate significant revenue through the Marketplace.
As a global tech company behemoth, no other flight sim developer can afford to throw this level of financial resource at buying these add-ons and integrating them in the base sim. LR, ED and IPACS are all way too small. LM already pay MS for the licence for the ESP platform, so that chips away at their profitability before they even consider doing likewise (not forgetting who the target audience really is).

^^I do agree with this. We are fortunate to see that this current version of MS considers that to make money, you need to spend some money first. We are very much the beneficiaries of this viewpoint.

AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440)
Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR

MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

Can't even remember when I bought my last scenery addon. I think it was last year.

MSFS 2020 is the first flight simulator that you can enjoy without spending a dime on addons.

A lot of freeware mods beat the pants off of payware stuff.

Most looking forward to the DC3 and the Beaver. The Bell 407. The only helicopter I've flown in is the Jet Ranger and I've always had an affinity with this line of helicopters. Hopefully there'll be an 'easy fly' option as well as something more challenging for those who require it, so as to please as many users as possible. Sometimes I like to fly helicopters properly but I often just enjoy a simpler experience.

Fun fact: The Spruce Goose's wingspan (97.82m) is almost exactly 3 times the Wright Flyer's first flight (32m).

If memory serves, the Spruce Goose never actually flew, other than a brief lift a few feet off the water with Howard Hughes himself at the controls. Wright Flyer multiple flights, Spuce Goose 0 !

You are absolutely correct! Reminded me of one of my few X-Plane videos. Here is that brief flight Spruce Goose Only Flight 01:35

Really looking forward to the Goose - just love the background history!

Kind of bummed out that everyone wants to build the Grumman Goose with fixed wing floats.   The retractable floats are one of my fav things about the Goose.  Kills my interest in this free one.

Thanks for all the support on this video guys! Shows how excited everyone is getting for this and rightfully so.
