  1. That was indeed my question; is Taogs OH-6 elusively using the default flight dynamics of MSFS2024?
  2. If a PS5 Pro (about $800) has decent hardware, comparable to a good PC (+$3000), the the price difference between the two can justify the higher prises off the addons I guess?
  3. This with your hardware? I would think that would be sufficient enough for 2024?
  4. I visited Evergreen in summer 2024 and it sure is a nice museum. I did not know what kind of plane N74TD was but now I do thanks to MSFS. 🙂
  5. Yes, but that is when clicking on a dot. This guy just found out that you can click anywhere and then choose the position on the ground instead of in the air. The latter is missing in 2020.
  6. Actually I think the quality differs in one sim too. I can only speak for 2020. For instance, I find the Baron and G36 of lesser quality texture wise than the rest of the planes in MSFS2020.
  7. The one I eagerly have been waiting for. And it will be free. One could not wish for more. 🙂
  8. Can be video capturing. I had that too with my video's. When Jörg was asked about the ground detail about a... year(?) ago, he answered "Forza Horizon quality". It seems that is the case with the new ground scenery. I cannot judge by myself since I am in a big flightsim dip and have not touched the controls for almost a year now. The only screenshot forum I know that shows the quality of the new sim is SOH. I do not watch many other screenshot forums by the way, so if people have suggestions please let me know. 🙂
  9. Yes this. I have not seen the video before. Very impressive.
  10. PG can look good, even on the ground but I guess it's a trade off between performance vs detail. The quality indeed depends on the data provider. I remember the first iteration of London PG being a different provider. Next LOD and internet speed come at play. But yes, all of this is already discussed many times. 🙂
  11. Are you by any chance flying in PG areas? I've read that the trees are green in those areas.
  12. I take the Cabri to the "Oirschotse heide". It's a Dutch low flying zone for helicopters and is totally flat in 2020. I made a custom scenery for it and I hope it will work in 2024 if it is still flat in that new sim.
  13. I saw it first on the ORBX forum. It was quite a coincidence that we talked about flightsim software visually being outdated and wishing the graphics would be something like the games of that current time just a few weeks before the announcement. My thoughts? "finally".
  14. Since I paid for MSFS, I guess the most payware aircraft I own are from Asobo/Microsoft, including Reno Racing. 😉 But if the OP means third party payware then the collection is very small: 3x Carenado (C-170, Waco, PA-28) 2x IFE (MB-339, M-346) 1x Ant's Airplanes (Tiger Moth) 1x Sim Work Studios (Kodiak)
  15. Incompatibility is progress. If the planes should work 100% every iteration of the sim than improvement is on hold.
  16. I remember Seb saying something about the propellors of the A400 actually rotating instead of being an animation. Is this the case with the Albatross as well? The rotation looks very convincing.
  17. I see this all the time in GA aircraft too. What aspect of reflection is new for the A380?
  18. I eventually will get the Premium Deluxe Edition. The reasons are the following aircraft which come with the PDE: Airbus Helicopter H225 Beechcraft C90 GTX King Air The Boeing Company C-17 Globemaster III The Boeing Company CH-47D Chinook Cirrus Aircraft SR22 Saab 340B
  19. It's a lovely plane but it is the steam gauge version and not with a glass cockpit. Iris has made the glass version but that one does not appeal to me. IMHO, I like the modelling and texturing better on the Blackbird version.
  20. So we need to play MSFS at double speed then. Those chopper shots are slomo.
  21. Oh yes, please! 🙂 I have that song ready for the first flight. 😀 But is that rotor speed not a bit too slow?
  22. Are you by any chance comparing the default pre SU14 colors with the new default SU14 colors? Then yes, they look reddish to me too. I switched screen caps from old and new and saw the difference as you describe. Our brains are slowly adapting to the colors and only after a while (say 30 seconds), we see how the colors are ment to be. So a quick test can help you with that: Look about 30 seconds to a SU14 screen capture and then switch to a white or neutral gray screen (i.e. Notepad). See if it has a color cast then. When I switch from a pre SU14 capture to a white screen, I see a red color cast. The casting is much less when switching from a SU14 cap to a white screen. This test works best with MSFS set to summer and noon.
  23. Thank you for this Matt. I was wondering the same. It makes sense now.
