That should be adequate 🙂 I’ve got 2x360mm rads which works wonders cooling the CPU and MB.

So I guess you’re not planning to upgrade the CPU(s) yet?

In very taxing situations I see 37 or above and as I use Vsync / 30 hertz I would gain little.

The 13900 has 8/16 cores instead of the 12900 having 8/8cores. With the main thread core bring the most important one most of fps gain would come from raw cpu speed and the 13900 can go up to 5.8 GHz. However, in general it would probably be 5.6/7 Ghz for the P cores and 4.3 GHz for the E cores.

And 8 P cores on the 12900 @ 5.3 would not give 30% less fps than 8 P cores on the 13900 @ 5.7 GHz… Perhaps 8% less…

My left view client is still fast enough with its older hardware : 8700k @ 5.0 GHz / 3090 …  Same scenery and everything on Ultra except both LOD at 200 like The front view server.

What also helps with smoothness is the hard drive. In both my pc’s I have 3500/3000 2 Tb M2 SSDs. And normal 600 SSDs for the non Fs things…

Good points. Not a huge performance benefit vs. the 12900.
