Showing my hometown Oostende and airport EBOS

Featured Replies

I like to share the place where I was born, raised and actual live: The Belgian Coastal City Oostende('Ostend' in English) and his Airport Oostende-Bruges (EBOS), situated 3 Km west of my home-address.

All shots are made in MSFS. Of coarse this airport is the most frequent used for my VFR-flights over the area and as departure for commercial or cargo flights to a multitude of destinations. Oostende-City-Spitfire-IX.jpg

On the airport is an Air college for flight training and a department(called 'vives') for educating students in aeronautic technics. Unfortunality, I haven't practised both opportunities, I lived 20 years elsewhere.

Also on the airport-ground is a service complex for Airbus Helicopters and has its own ICAO --> EBHN

They look very nice indeed !!

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds
