Great news for PSX users...

Make sure you watch the video linked in the initial post.

What is trully amazing is how the author is being able to bring the display of the instruments inside the instrument panel of a model 744 in XP12.

Given the flight dynamics will be driven by PSX and not XP12 this will guarantee a unique experience since nothing really compares to the accuracy provided by Aerowinx.,

I am no longer using PSX, but this app might change it...

Of course we're talking an expensive solution here: Aerowinx PSX (€358,67 base + €141,61 NG FMC) + XP12...

compared to the free offer mSparks 744 for casual simmer use, but if you're a 744 addict, or a professional, then it might bring new motivation since PSX is long in need for such a 3d companion app... and who knows VR in the future too...

ooofff.

That's a lot easier said than done... Piping video into the panel texture is absolute childs play compared to building the rest of a tubeliner 3D cockpit from scratch. Not just in artistic challenges, but getting the UV right is absolute murder (lost count of the number of would be 3D designers who gave up once they got there, including the original artists that got me hooked on the 744).

Maximum credit to Dyno/"the one and only plane" (same guy two names) for breaking through that on the RB211 engines for the 744... all in they took him over a year to finish, and they didnt even have manipulators. (just a couple on anims for the spinners and reversers)

side note/not that important.

Pretty sure that is notchmasters and my cockpit texture in his video - Notchmaster did that gear handle, I did the brake pressure guage, so lying about it being default. default looks like:

Keep the motivation and excellent work with your 744 mod mSparks !

My only quirk so far is the FPS drop, from 32 ( fixed per VSync in sim + NCP fps limitter ) to mid/ low 20s... I know there's a lot going on in the background, so it has to feel heavy, unless diect C++ plugin programming is used (?)
