ai ac wheels, runway boundary lights, etc...

Featured Replies

Since quite a while many object details only show up (pop in) when very very close to it. Most noticeable are missing wheels at ai planes, runway and taxiway boundary lights, windsocks and some other small airport objects. At least it would be nice to have an extra slider for this purpose. Current Terrain and Objects LOD settings don't have any influence on those objects.

I have added a related question for the next Q&A session on twitch. If you support this question, you can vote for it https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/can-we-get-back-better-objects-lods/552257

Yeah its a pain. Something happened to lods some updates ago.

For me it helps a little if I set the object lod to 6 in the UserCfg.opt, like this:

    {ObjectsLoD
        LoDFactor 6.000000

I have noticed this as well...I went ahead and voted.
