Buttkicker? YES please!

Hey guys/gals,

I always stayed away from purchasing a Buttkicker because I did not want wires going from my chair to my PC.  Simple reasoning but I'm sure anyone can understand my peeve.  Once I realized they came out with a smaller sized unit ( Gamer plus )  I thought why not attach it to my flight stand pro?   So, I went ahead and purchased one and wow - talk about a new level of emersion.  Honestly, it's like having a force feedback stick all over again.  There is also a new MSFS profile coming out soon to work with their haptic software.    I went ahead and attached it to my chair and then to my stand and I honestly prefer it to the stand which is great for a wire free installation.

Happy landings,

Tony

Tactile feedback does add another dimension to the sim,  I hate flying without it.   I have this Dayton 2 channel amp and Aura Pro transducer bundle. https://www.parts-express.com/Dayton-Audio-APA150-With-2-Aura-Pro-Bass-Shakers-Bundle-300-9004    I use SimShaker for Aviators to generate the tactile feedback from Simconnect telemetry.

I have the transducers mounted under my seat for L/R channels,  and they shake the hotas which is mounted to the seat too.   I want to buy two cheap generic transducers from parts express to put under my rudder pedals,  but haven't got around to it.    I especially like twin engine aircraft because of the harmonics that you can feel with two channels.  👍

Couldn't agree more.  I have three of them - my chair,my rudders and my yoke.  Just like putting a quarter in those vibro-beds in a cheap motel, HA!😆

Surprised they haven't come out with a wireless version.

I too love my Buttkicker. I have mine for about 4 years now and when I got it setup the first time, I was like WOW, how in the heck have I not tried this much sooner! I never fly without it now, and in the rare moments when I forget to turn it on for a flight, I immediately feel like something is missing. Doesn't take me long to figure it out.

AMD Ryzen 7800X3D & Gigabyte X670E Aorus Master MB, w/32 Gb GSkill DDR5 RAM, MSI 4090 GPU, lots of SSD's and M.2 drives, Fractal Torrent Case, Virpil VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle, Virpil Constellation Alpha Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Yoke Boeing Edition and MFG Rudder pedals. Currently on Win11
