November 14, 20223 yr Its great to finally have a steam gauge PC-6 to play with but I have a long standing problem with starting the thing, it just wont. Either using the proper startup from cold and dark or simply Ctrl+e, neither way will get it running, it spins up but doesnt ever go above a low idle, moving the throttle does nothing, its been like this since I first bought it on release. Any help appreciated.

November 14, 20223 yr Strange! Are the Di-lithium crystals aligned correctly? I will try this myself tonight to see if I have the same problem. Any sign of the steam gauge version yet? I heard it was due shortly after SU11. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Tbh ive never found any mention of anyone else having this problem and like I mentioned its been present since I bought the thing over a year ago. Any help appreciated. Do you have an axis assigned to the lever that controls low idle/high idle? That's a separate control on the PC-6. November 14, 20223 yr Yes the fuel valve is open. Yes Im aware of the condition lever (ground Idle/Flight Idle) and it moves as it should and also has an affect on rpm, but the throttle simply doesnt make any difference even though the animation follows my control movement I know the correct procedure to start and it does actually spin up, it just doesnt go above idle whatever I do. Using Ctrl+E has the same result it just spins at idle with no throttle response whatsoever
