Godd float planes for FSX??

Featured Replies

Hey guys,Are there any good add on float planes for FSX? I'm not a fan of the default Maule. The C208 would be nice from FS9 if it could be ported over?Any ideas?Kael

Kael,What's your definition of a good float plane? You might have a look on Aerosoft BeaverX ( http://www.aerosoft.com/ ). Note that the BeaverX comes without a 2D panel - VC only. I like it a lot.Ulf B :-)

Hard to beat the Carenado Cessna 206 amphibian or the Real Air Scout. For freeware, there's the PAD Turbo Beaver available.Jim

Hi All:For those that want to see the Maule Amphibian in all its glory, the Mikko Maliniemi Maule M-7-260 (6 Models in all!)is available at:http://files.fsnordic.net/cgi-bin/file/sea...eyword&bool=andWith few minor modifications, the sounds can be aliased to the default FSX 5.1 surround encoded files for the M-7-260C, or ported over into the freeware aircrafts's folders for use there in an edited "sound.cfg" file; ...a fabulous aircraft! ;)PS: The C208 can be ported over to FSX.
