DD EWR

Featured Replies

I bought DD EWR.  I think all of DD's US airports are great.  I didn't get too much time to check it out but did a quick flight from KBOS-KEWR today.  I thought the quality and detail were awesome but I had more stutters than ever on approach and taxiing.  Easily more than any airport I have flown into in MSFS.  Granted, I was flying on Vatsim and there were lots of people flying out of EWR and I also have Feelthere LGA.  My question is, would there be a way to reduce stuttering by taking out LGA from my community folder when flying into EWR?  Is there a way to make the default Asobo JFK less taxing?  I realize that NYC area is huge and generally cause bad performance, but the stutters were awful on approach and after landing.  Just curious.  Other than that, it is a very good airport.

I have no doubt that you would get better results with only 1 of them installed at a time. This is precisely the situation that the Addon Linker is designed to handle. LGA and EWR are so close to each other, MSFS has no choice but to load them both.

Try landing at LGA now. I'll bet you don't get the same performance you had before.

Would it be as simple as removing one of them from the community folder prior to flying into the other or is there more involved than that?

what is weird is that I have DD Chicago, Midway, and FSDT ORD and never had stutters like this
