With PSXT, not being able to use the garbage ATC is no loss as it doesn't really know what it's doing as it is. The default phraseology is also pretty horrendous. The fact that the default ATC waits for an arrival to clear the runway before lining up the next departure right there is ridiculous. I don't pay attention to schedules in the slightest, but I do want to see who should be at each of my airports. Seeing De-ice ques, aircraft waiting for gates or ground crew, proper startup times with proper pushbacks is also a big plus for me. It just comes down to what expectations we all have. I respect everybody has a different view on this and that's completely fine - at the end of the day it depends what's important to each user. I agree with you Dave in that to me the PROS and CONS off sim controlled traffic (AIG/FSLTL/Asobo Live) vs PSXT controlled traffic come down slightly in favour of PSXT. I agree with @Farlis that it would be nice to see GSE and jetways interacting with the AI Traffic. And yep, I agree that sometimes the pushbacks and movement of the AI in corners can be weird. But when I weight that against the negative effects of Asobo controlled traffic (be it via FSLTL or AIGTC) were you get little or no arrivals, lots of go around and aircraft buzzing the tower at 200 feet, it comes down to what is worse and I just find those issues too much. One of the other little things that annoys me for Asobo controlled traffic is the parking. Too few addon airports have correct parking codes added to them, so even if the AI models (AIG and FSLTL) have the correct parking codes, the sim parks them all over the place because the airports don't include them. In P3D or FSX we could fix that ourselves with ADE, but thats no longer possible in MSFS. Thats not a problem with PSXT where it parks the aircraft as they are in the real world. I guess it comes down to what the users list of 'desirable' and 'not so desirable' requirements are. For me I'll stick with PSXT at least until Asobo sort some of their AI traffic issues out.
