January 3, 20233 yr Hello. After the latest FSUIPC update, my throttles on the PMDG 737 aren't working correctly and I cannot figure it out. I'm looking to get into Axis and Ohs. I have the Honeycomb Alpha, Bravo and the VRI MCP Boeing II. I would like to move over from FSUPIC and LINDA and have just AAO. My question: I would like to assign things like "Set Park Brake" or Turn on and OFF the beacon for various aircraft. (FENIX A30, PMDG 737, ini A310 for now). How hard is this to do? Does it require scripting to have the knobs on the VRInsight panel working on each aircraft? Thanks for any help you can provide. "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

Every aircraft is different in MSFS, the developers don't adhere to any standards. Unless another simmer already analyzed the plane and made configurations or script collections available (check flightsim dot to), then it is a significant amount of work and a steep learning curve to find out what assets have to be used to operate the desired system in every single aircraft. Quote Does it require scripting to have the knobs on the VRInsight panel working on each aircraft? In most cases, yes. Again, if you can find a ready-made profile to download, it is not that bad. But doing it yourself without any background in the simulator SDK is a steep learning curve. Also, please be mindful that only one type of VRI hardware is supported by the bridge program - the "MCP Combo II Boeing". There is a fully functional DEMO version of AAO, so you can try for yourself. As mentioned in the product description in the shops, no support will be provided if you don't use the DEMO before purchase to make sure that it works the way you want. January 4, 20233 yr Author @Lorby_SI Thank you for the honest reply. My days of programming are far behind me and it seems most of the addons are for Stream Deck. I am looking for a replacement for my VRI MCP2 Boeing MCP, but I don't think the stream deck is it for me at this moment. Will still keep an eye on your software in case I don't have any other choices. Thank you for your time! "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma

Most of these packages have a separate scripts file that you can import into your AAO and use them with any other hardware too. Just disregard the assets that you don't need. And I think that especially "Guenseli" is often including AAO Templates for the "VRI MCP Combo II" in his packages (he has one of those too) even when it says "StreamDeck" on the tin. All the above aircraft you mentioned have profiles and MCP2 profiles already done and available for download. Here is the link Flightsim.to » Profile of Guenseli to our old Friend from the LINDA days, Guenseli. Click on his uploads to see what you want. They are all there for you. If you want a cheap replacment of the MCP2 for MSFS, I would recommend the AXAIR MIAP PC - AXBOX SHOP (laptime.nl) or Home | Octavi Edited January 8, 20233 yr by B777ER Eric
January 10, 20233 yr Author @B777ER I did not see those profiles. Thank you very much for linking them! For the MCP, I'd like something a bit more immersive. So not quite home cockpit sized but something that can help my immersion a bit. Again, much appreciated. "I am the Master of the Fist!" -Akuma
