Someone needs to do a flight model mod.

I find it not that bad, somehow it shows the character of that old, heavy airliner..

But shure it is not perfect at this state and a lot bugfixing have to be done from the Dev Team but i see potenzial with this Add on and it is flyable with the state of yet.

cheers 😉

Hmm, I flew DC-1030s and I'm familiar with the MD11 characteristics. Does it follow the flight plan well? If so, I may grab it and tune it against the performance manual.

Nice shots.  Working inside the #2 engine at night in the sleet is a little unnerving.  Great plane and I loved the MD-11 cockpit.

Yes it does follow the flight plan but only the in Sim Flightplaner is supported so no Simbrief at the moment..

Use the AP and NAV Buttons for that and better leave the FMS and PROFILE button alone, those not realy working yet and needs bugfixing.

ILS work on my last two flights and trainingsflights i did , so this should be OK.

I hope we get ongoeing updates from the Dev's for those issues, if that happens we get a useable good MD-11 Add on. ( But no study Level, what ever that means )

cheers 😉

Shoot! I'll grab it and see how it compares and adjust as necessary. DCs and MDs are my favorite jets. As long as it can follow a flight plan and climb/descend through VS, I can manage it.

Same to me, but to say it levels down the track ( at TOD ) if you push the altitude button downwards ( like in the airbusses ) after u set your desired high alt, but not like real VNAV.

This normaly should done with that PROFILE Button but this does not work like it should..

Hoping for bugfixes in that and some other cases..

Great shots buddy, as usual. I'm curious now, I know that LTU flew the Tristar. It was my first longhaul flight ever: from Düsseldorf with my wife in the early 1980s to the Maldives via Colombo, Sri Lanka. Did they also use the DC-10?
