Use no flaps. Cruise just at the bottom of the Yellow arc.

Set full nose heavy trim, then try to fly straight &  level...

Even better... Set the Trim for straight and level and from the outside check the elevator deflection. Then set full nose heavy trim ... Try to fly straight and level using the same amount of elevator deflection and see if you can... You should be able... OFC

You are a big XP fan, why does the default XP C 172 fly like no real C 172 I have ever flown in real life?

For the same reason none of it's gliders fly like the ones I fly / flew IRL... it's a simulator, just like MFS... It feels like word not allowed compared with reality starting with the takeoff run, and... MFS is no better...

A very simple test:

- try an engine-out scenario in both trhe Fenix and the FSLabs...

A very simple test:

- try a "Sidestick Reversal Capt" scenario in the FSLabs.

You will find, that FSLabs does not simulate that failure at all. The same applies for more than 350 other failure types which are only simulated in the Fenix. So I doubt, that FSLabs or Toliss can be called superior in failure simuation.

That's a big failure of both then 😁 ... Thx for the hint !

Will try that on my airlinetools too...

I also use the Warthog.  I'm using the lighter sensitivity option also, but it has taking me many months to get the sensitivity settings to an acceptable level...lol.

In all honestly, I wouldn't recommend the Warthog for desktop sim use.  It's just too heavy.  I know the plastic ones aren't the best either, but they seem to be better for making the very small corrections needed during short final and the flare.

I could never get my warthog to feel right, either it was too over sprung or flopped around like wet spaghetti, I went back to my X45 for a while that was actually better.

Eventually I bought a VKB Gunfighter which imo is an order of magnitude better that the over-hyped Warthog
