rex skyforce settings

Featured Replies

hello,

i have p3dv5.3, ASP3D, and Rex Skyforce.

i use Skyforce for Clouds, ASP3D as weather engine.

- when i start P|3D, should i start Rex Skyforce aswell? even when i dont use the weather engine?

- should i enable the option: in-sync cloud model status? or leave every option disabled in synchronization system status?

regards,

Alex

I use it that way : the in-sync needs SkyForce running, which gives the best results.

As per REX manual you need to start REXSF first and than everything after. REXSF stays on all the time in order to function properly. Of course, if you have ASP3 make sure to disable REXSF WX engine in settings.

I was using the same configuration and my start up routine was Rex SF, then ASP3D then P3D. Since then I have given up on Rex SF and now fly with ASP3D with EA enabled in P3D since it has become better with v5.3.

Certain scenery/addons and antialiasing seem to work better with EA turned off.
