Start of a long coastal flight

Featured Replies

I've always wanted to do this in the sim.  I started out at the southern tip of South America and am flying north along the coast all the way to northern Canada.  By helicopter so I can stop and see the sights.  Yesterday I flew for about 90 minutes and it was one of the most relaxing things I've done in these trying times.

I stopped at SAWE which is Rio Grande airport.

Excellent idea, buddy. I do presently something similar. I cross the Pacific, but of course not in a heli (that would be impossible), but a King Air 🙂

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

A realy good idea Jack, and very fine shots !

cheers 😉

Thanks Bernd, yes sir, a helicopter over that distance would require an air refueler.

Thanks Gerold.  Flew another two hour's worth north yesterday, it's so relaxing to see the realistic waves move along the beach.
