Hello,

Does anyone else own the Aerosoft Airbus A318-321 Professional and know how to get rid of the annoying water and snow spray effects when taxiing in the winter and rain?

They are cool, but they kill FPS and are super annoying when its not snowing out, just not realistic.

i have deleted water and snow spray effects files in P3D 'Effects' folder - for me those are annoying and not so realistic ones

Never thought about that, i will try that and report back.

To be a little more specific, in P3Dv5 I've done the following to disable snow and rain wheel spray.

In the P3d Effects folder:

Rename fx_WheelSnowSpray.fx to fx_WheelSnowSpray.OFF

Rename fx_WheelWetSpray.fx to fx_WheelWetSpray.OFF

What about the annoying wing tip vortices of vapo off the wings? Yes, it is real in some environments but not everytime.

I like the aerosoft airbus, but some of this stuff angers me.

I haven't done this but it should work to get rid of the wing tip vortices.

Procedure is the same. Just go the the P3D Effects folder and rename:

fx_wingtipvortice_l.fx to fx_wingtipvortice_l.OFF and fx_wingtipvortice_r.fx to fx_wingtipvortice_r.OFF
