Also, this dude does performance tests on Caribbean islands where just about everyone with a decent system will have good performance even on high settings. He needs to do these tests in more dense areas for real data.

Hey guys, lately I’ve been experiencing some annoying sound lag stutters where the sim is loading and the sound will lag / pop. I never used to have this problem in 2020. Now when something would be loading in 2020 it would pause for a few seconds but I guess it’s different in 2024? I have an i9-10850k and a rtx 4070ti super. I also use msfs on an nvme with 2GB internet. I’ve tried multiple things: deleted shader cache, I use msfs auto fps. I have most of my settings on high a few on ultra usually tlod is 200 at cruise and 50 on ground. I do also use fshud ai traffic but turn it off after departure and turn it back on near arrival. I notice the sound lag stutters seem to happen when flying the pmdg 737s, doesn’t ever happen much if at all in fenix or Ifly. Yes I’ve uninstalled the NVIDIA hd audio drivers and my sound device in msfs 2024 is selected towards my corsair headset. It’s not a end all thing as it doesn’t happen on every flight but I never once had this issue in 2020 and had close to 1500 hours in that sim before moving over to 2024 full time a few months ago. Any ideas???

So far, I've used the new live feature for a few days and theres good and bad. The good, obviously live data, however, the bad, the program has a hard time matching planes with paints for example, the program is confused on what Sun Country flight is operated by Prime air or a regular sun country passenger flight. I saw a SCX 737-800 in the sim headed to Lakeland, however, it was a SCX passenger 737-800 and not a prime air 737-800 which it was supposed to be. I also saw two westjet flights, but they were both in "cargo" paint and not passenger per the real life. The live feature also seems to struggle with figuring out the difference between a 319-320/321 neo. I saw a few united flights that were supposed to have been 319-320 and they were all 321 neos. Im hoping they can get it figured out, I would like to use the live feature, especially for seasons that AIG plans dont cover (I.E winter but AIG plans are summer) so we can see different routes, but for me right now, after the trial is over, i wont be paying until this is figured out. Im using AIG paints and models.

Watched a few streamers showcase it yesterday and the performance so far looks terrible, not very well optimized. Hope they get that fixed before release.

Orbx was also to have done DTW, but thats gone no where the in the last few years.

Orbx ATL and Bluebird 757 are both competing hard for multi year never ending projects. Its absolutely ridiculous how long that Orbx ATL has taken, all we hear is "soon", "beta in april" then pushed back and pushed back.

I would hope your sim would be stutter free when you spend nearly $3,000 plus on a system.

After the latest Fenix update and using this mod, getting frequent CTD in the fenix, not happening in the pmdg's. Any help?

So this wont work in 2020 as there is no option in the settings to change (X) how many frame gen multiplier you want..........

When I try and launch MSFS auto FPS I get an error in 2024, why is this? I also use 2020, is there something else I need to put into 2024 for it to work?

The problem is it appears its installing in both places and the new location where I want on a separate hard drive is a mirror. How do I prevent it being installed on both places? I literally just want it installed in one.

Hello everyone, Been a 2020 user for a few years now and went ahead and purchased 2024. Now my biggest question is, although I install 2024 on a different drive, why does 2024 create a folder on my C drive and insist all my addons go in there? I dont have the space on my C drive to store all of my addons, paints, aircraft, etc and purposely purchased an NVME drive to install 2024 there as well as addons, etc. How can I fix this so that I can move addons from my C drive to my H drive? 2020 made it easy, yes it creates a small folder on the C drive but I was able to store my entire community folder on a separate drive and have all my addons off my C drive. Please help Thanks

Hello, Been on 2020 for quite some time now but was wondering if i should be using vsync or locked fps. I have a rtx 4070ti super and a i9-10850k cpu. Currently use TAA and frame gen dx12. I’ve seen a mix so trying to get an idea what’s best. Don’t really wanna use dlss because I still see there’s annoying ghosting issues especially in the glass cockpit. My monitor is 144hz refresh rate and I fly in 2K 1440p resolution.

Hello, so I hadn’t flown in a few days and installed the latest gsx update version and now I’m getting a crash to desktop while at the gate. i have over 1300 hours in msfs 2020 and have literally never had a crash to desktop during sim. any help?

So for some reason the latest auto fps version changes my clouds setting to medium when I don’t have “decrease cloud setting option” checked. Even on ultra which is my sim setting, doesn’t effect fps hardly any and I still achieve my fps. Using 2020. Any idea why this is??

Yeah you be lucky to see the bluebird 767 in about 4 years from now. The 757 has been in project for like 4-5 years and still isnt out yet. 767 might be ready for MSFS 2028.

We got the 800, now 700, 900, 9-12 months from now?
