I deleted MSFS auto fps and re installed it and it still showing x3 FG.......any ideas??

Question, have been using autofps for awhile. However, Recently started using DLSS and autofps shows in black mfgx3 when my gpu only supports x2 frame gen (4070ti super) and autofps shows my frames higher than they should be, what’s causing this? I’m in 2024

Anyone ever get sound stutters when loading sometimes? Drives me crazy, 2020 never did that.

I have an i9-10850K and a 4070TI Super, would DLSS benefit me more for better performance? Ive really never used it, only ever used TAA and DLSS frame gen in sim but never actual DLSS.

Twice today when loading in the updated max my msfs froze, the music still played but the little circle spinner stopped spinning. Task manager never said msfs wasn’t responding though but I just gave up and closed the sim. Never seen this before in all the years using the Ifly. In 2024, anyone else have this problem ?

I’m on the steam version of 2024 and I launched 2024 this evening but never saw any kind of download update like 2020 used to force you to press. I’m assuming the sim update installed?? Or am I missing something

Does anyone who doesn’t own a 5000 series gpu use the DLSS mod for extra frame gen and have ctd when loading into the fenix most of the time? I have a 4070ti super and usually have issues loading into the sim with the fenix and the dlss mod causes a ctd. i will click fly now and the fenix will do its thing where it loads the airplane and then 2024 freezes And then crashes to desktop. I know it’s the dlss mod because I look in event viewer and it shows that file is the cause. Doesn’t happen with any other airplane. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Its soooo annoying! I clear my Nvidia cache once per week too (heard that is a cause). I dont experience it on every flight, but usually hear it at least once.

Wonder if they fixed any of the sound lag issues when stuff is loading in? I had over 1500 hours in 2020 before switching over to 2024 and not once did I have that issue.

For 2024 thats not happening, they basically said they wont do anything more until a 2024 version is released. So maybe in another few years we will get one.

Thats a good point, but I would only go to BATC for the live traffic aspect, FSHUD live is not good at all.

You can always switch it back to the seasonal traffic and not use live if you need to go back, correct? Also, one final BATC question, if i dont want premium characters, its a ONE time $30 purchase correct? Also, if I just want to use BATC for AI traffic injection, i can just ignore the ATC part for my flights correct? I do the same with FSHUD, i only use FSHUD for AI injection and I dont touch the ATC aspect.

Can you explain this more to me? So how does it know where to park? Does it just default to the parking assignments included in the scenery ADE? If so, its a no from me, I want realistic parking assignments.

Debating maybe getting BATC, does anyone know if the AI park at real world gates or is that still an issue?

Probably gonna be close to a year before we see CLT, I believe hes a one man team. CLT is a massive project.

Also, this dude does performance tests on Caribbean islands where just about everyone with a decent system will have good performance even on high settings. He needs to do these tests in more dense areas for real data.

Hey guys, lately I’ve been experiencing some annoying sound lag stutters where the sim is loading and the sound will lag / pop. I never used to have this problem in 2020. Now when something would be loading in 2020 it would pause for a few seconds but I guess it’s different in 2024? I have an i9-10850k and a rtx 4070ti super. I also use msfs on an nvme with 2GB internet. I’ve tried multiple things: deleted shader cache, I use msfs auto fps. I have most of my settings on high a few on ultra usually tlod is 200 at cruise and 50 on ground. I do also use fshud ai traffic but turn it off after departure and turn it back on near arrival. I notice the sound lag stutters seem to happen when flying the pmdg 737s, doesn’t ever happen much if at all in fenix or Ifly. Yes I’ve uninstalled the NVIDIA hd audio drivers and my sound device in msfs 2024 is selected towards my corsair headset. It’s not a end all thing as it doesn’t happen on every flight but I never once had this issue in 2020 and had close to 1500 hours in that sim before moving over to 2024 full time a few months ago. Any ideas???
