Third Party AC Recommendation

Recommended Posts

Also I was just thinking about sensitivities. I wonder if you bind your control surfaces to axises; otherwise; all airplane will be jerky sensitive stock or add ons!

Put your Logitech yoke in the trash can. Get yourself a Honeycomb.

Fulcrum One beats both. 😉

Are these aircraft availability via the marketplace?  Can you install a third party aircraft outside of the marketplace?

I know MS changed the method for installing add on AC.

Thanks everyone for your great suggestions.

 I loved the Flysimware MU2 for FSX…

Thanks!

If you buy the aircraft through the marketplace it installs into the in-game content manager.

If you buy it from somewhere like the Orbx shop or direct from the developer you install it into the community folder.

That was good advice when the Honeycomb was $250. Now that it's $100 more expensive, it makes more sense to save a little longer and get the Fulcrum One. All metal, very well-built yoke that's lightyears ahead of what Honeycomb is doing.

That actually annoyed me about Honeycomb, because they were establishing a pretty good niche as "nicer than Logitech/Saitek junk but not priced crazy-high." They seem to be abandoning that second part now, which puts them into competition with much better hardware.
