Round Robin, Cuban Style!

Just picked up LVFR’s KFLL and to christen it’s first departure I decided to go somewhere I’ve never flown, Cuba. It’s been quite interesting and for more defined with Rivers and Roads, Flora and Fauna than I expected or even imagined. Flight plan is below and as a parting question, anyone know if the Bing land data presented is real or synthetic?  Just curious.

I remember flying over a resort that I stayed at in Varadero and it had Bing ground imagery.

I remember in the 1960-70s, many flights headed for Miami were routinely diverted to Cuba by hijackers. Almost no one was ever killed or injured. Johnny Carson used to make jokes about it. The top year was 1969 when over 50 flights were hijacked. It's difficult to conceive of this fact today but, back then, there were no security checks at all before boarding an airline. Even after the infamous 1971 DB Cooper incident, Richard McCoy was allowed to board an airline carrying a loaded shotgun and a parachute, which he used to extort money and escape (temporarily). Those were very different times.

By the way, @btacon, I didn't mean to accuse you of hijacking. 🙂 I'm sure your flight to Cuba was voluntary and skillfully flown.

Or check water masks near Las Brujas MUBR. Simply amazing. I've had a trip to Havana couple years ago and it's a spot on in msfs.
