I haven't had an acknowledgemnt of my post above, I repeat there seem to be a lot of simmers with the high end ATI cards having crash/ctd problems, and this is being well diocumented at the Sapphire forum. The new ATI cards have a real demand on the power supply, as I said my X1950XT calls for 30 amps on the 12v rail, I don't know about the NVIDIA cards what their demand is but I do think it is worth checking at the more detailed attributes of the power supply. Seems to me that power supplies are becoming a lot more sophisticated, and it is no longer simply looking at the overall wattage. Nigel,I did see your reply, I was actually still checking into it, also saw the posts on Sapphire forums.I have a Cooltek 600W PSU, which by all specs should be enough to push this card as far as it wants to go (mine is Powercolor and not Sapphire).I also had with this card previously Seasonic M12 with 600W, which was a little too loud for me, previously had Antec Phantom 500, and now I have the Cooltek.Comparing the graphics and stability of the games, all were performing the same in my system. I was exchanging them because of the noise.

The first thing to do would be testing your RAM with memtest booted from a CD. I run a fairly high o/c (Conroe at 3.6 Ghz, FSB1600) for 10 month without any problems. About 2 weeks ago i got fatal errors and CTD's. Well, i found out that one of my 1GB RAM sticks went south...Heiko
