"finite resources"

Yeah - remember when we had to run a special boot routine to clear TSR programs from memory so we could load MS Flight Simulator from floppy?

Years ago my uncle told me his company once bought 4k of memory for a mainframe system and it cost $32,000.00. Heck in the early 90's my company paid $1600.00 each for (2) 2 GB HDD's.

The QNH Readers receive buffer is 512 bytes. However, some new METARS of Balthasar, are 534 bytes long, oops!

This shows my age. When I started programming memory was scarse.  Nowadays that's no longer an issue, you have to think big 😉

I noticed when an airport XML files get too large and hits the 640K barrier, further learning is not possible.

Could you please find a way for PSXT to access the extended memory?

😉
