NORCAL - Eureka to Nevada County

 

Starting from Pacific coast from Murray Field (KEKA) in Eureka California, the route crosses the coastal range and then the Sacramento valley, stopping at nine airstrips, before reaching our destination Nevada County (KGOO) in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada.

Weather forecast is for more snow tonight in the California hills but brightening on Wednesday. Trying to figure out whether we need skis or wheels. 😎
