February 27, 20233 yr My default Bendix_King radios went AWOL. All I have are black areas on the panels where they should be and a big black rectangle where they should be a pop-up radio stack. They've been working ever since I installed P3Dv5. All the gauges are in place in the gauges folder. In any case I replaced them from my FSX gauge folder but they still don't show. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
February 27, 20233 yr Administrators Noel. I have moved your post to the P3d forum for quicker responses to your question. Will FSX gauges work in P3dv5? Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!
February 27, 20233 yr Author They have been Charlie. I moved the Beech Baron from FSX to P3dVd and everything was there and worked. When I moved the FSX aircraft like the DG808 and C172 I also copied the gaues from the FSX gauge file to the P3Dv3 gauge file. They have been working for 2 years at least. Then yesterday I just get black panels where the gauges should be. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

February 28, 20233 yr I'd start by deleting your shaders...P3D will rebuild them. February 28, 20233 yr Author I never update drivers or anything like that if everything is running fine. Thanks Bob. I'll give that a try. But where do I find these shaders? February 28, 20233 yr In C:\Users\[you]\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 Rename or delete the Shaders folder there. P3D will rebuild it next time it runs. Do *not* mess with the ShadersHLSL folder in the main P3D folder. March 1, 20233 yr Author That didn't work Bob. It doesn't really matter much though. There are third party panels I can use as substitutes. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
