FSUIPC Question

Featured Replies

For whatever reason FSUIPC doesn't automatically start for me anymore when I start the sim and i don't see my desktop icon anymore.  Can someone please let me know where i can find it on my PC so I  can open it up again to get it to autostart?

Search for a folder called install_fsuipc7    the exe folder is in there. If you click on FSUIPC7.exe, there is a check box where you can have it auto start and auto shut down.

FSUIPC7 may not autostart if something has corrupted the FSUIPC7 section in your sim exe.xml file. Also, a problem with a file used by FSUIPC7 can prevent it from starting. I recently had a problem with the FSUIPC7 myevents.txt file that holds user defined presets, and as a result FSUIPC7 would not start.

Couple of suggestions if the problem persists
-- Run the FSUIPC7 installer again if you know where that is. If necessary, download the latest FSUIPC7 version form the FSUIPC7 website.

-- Do a search for FSUIPC7.exe. If you double click on that file FSUIPC7 should open. If that doesn't work, then a file used by FSUIPC7 may have a problem. That was the case with my  myevents.txt file that I mentioned above.

-- Take a look at this FSUIPC7 autostart info by John Dowson:
