March 3, 20233 yr Greetings! I am struggling with the steps required to install Taimodels' OMDB in X-plane 12. I can't find the .ini scenery file for example and I am not sure what the correct steps to complete the installation are. Lol... Can someone please assist? Thank you in advance!
March 3, 20233 yr Commercial Member Maybe this will help. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/442579-understanding-scenery-order/ Your scenery_packs.ini file is in the X-Plane 12/Custom Scenery folder.
March 3, 20233 yr Author Ok, thank you GoranM. I did find that file and typed exactly what the developer suggests, plus added three folders to the scenery folder (from the developer's .zip file) but I continue to get a message saying that some files are missing from the Dubai airport and this is where I am now stuck 😞

March 3, 20233 yr Author @mSSparks> Correct as to the Log.txt file. But how do I add the missing files and why are they missing? Xplane tries to restore those files via the Installer but when I go back to Dubai the same files continue to be missing. My concern is that when I installed the OMDB airport something went wrong because the instructions are not clear and I am looking for clear instructions to avoid this issue from perpetuating itself every time I try to fly out of Dubai.. For now, I can reinstall Xplane and at least place the sim back to its required state and wait to install OMDB until I find complete instructions or understand the steps... This is the only scenery that is giving me all these issues. .
March 3, 20233 yr Open custom scenery folder. Scroll to bottom and open scenery pack config file with Notepad. Make sure Global Airports is below your OMDB scenery. Save the changes. Close the folder.
