March 26, 20233 yr Commercial Member Take this as you will: cockpit from film frame You can see the time that I captured the frame from the video timeline. Pulling it up would probably be a good idea to see the comparison. I then subjected it to the absolute minumum changes in hue and saturation to do the following: - change the mixture manifold levers to red (one of the many inconsistences in the aircraft. In others the manifold levers are white or grey) - change the skintones to be somewhere about right - change the scrambled eggs on the hatband to look like brass (scrambled eggs = British expression for the brass insignia on a hat) The result was that the cockpit turned shades of green. Interestingly, the FE gauge and lever panels also turned a shade of green. That would explain this: b&w_panel where the face of the communications panel and the face of the pyrometer-potentiometer are obviously black but everything else is much lighter in tone. I know the P-P colour to be true as I have a picture of one taken from an auction on ebay about eighteen months ago. No. Definately not 😄I will not be changing the FE panels to green even though it appears that is the colour they should be. I have deliberately not mentioned how much of a change I made to hue or saturation. That is because if anyone else wants to try it then they won't be influenced by the steps I took. I am also aware that a very few people will see the changes I made in Photoshop as an attempt to boost my position that the cockpit is green. I would refer you to the colour descriptions in the Aircraft Manual that were scanned from the B-314 Maintenance Manual. [Edit] Corrected the mixture lever name. June 22, 20232 yr Here is a product that shows how "our" Clipper should have been designed from the start. Too bad that Pilot´s did not get it right and threw the Clipper out far too early.... 😞 This plane has no problems with features that we were told to be impossible to implement with the present SDK, haha Please give us an update to include at least of few of those features too The Clipper needs more work and above all BETTER work, sorry to say.
