YBTL Anybody able to ascertain this? Or explain it? I have experienced this phenomenon at 10 or 15 small airfields in Nunavut (e.g. CYXP), Northern Canada, and Alaska. None of these airfields had elaborate scenery or any ai traffic. Starting about 5 miles from the threshold my frame rate gradually dropped from 25 fps to 1 or 0.5 fps right at the threshold. After crossing the threshold, the framerate was immediately back to normal. Unfortunately, I did not make a list of the airfields.
