BSQ Bonanza, no pod.

Featured Replies

I started flying the turbo variant, it had a radar screen in the cockpit and a nice radar pod on the right wing. Now that I have switched to another version I notice that I have the radar screen but no pod attached to the wing. Am I missing something, a setting, switch, or is it a bug?

You should be able to set your preference in the ini file..

You can also look in the *.FLT files - for me at the bottom is a section:

[LocalVars.0]
BKSQ_Turbocharged=1
BKSQ_TurbochargerSound=1
BKSQ_TipTanks=0
BKSQ_RadarPod=0

0=off, 1-on

I utilized it to get the turbo sans tanks and pod ...

Covered briefly in part in the manual on page 65.

HI, where do I find the *.flt file?

I read the info in the manual, but still can't understand it all. It seems that if I find the file its selecting 1 or 0.

Just need to find the file.

Thanks in advance.

Go to the Analog Bonanza airplane folder in your Community folder.. search for *.flt

or go down into the folder until you find runway.flt and apron.flt etc

Thanks much, also #Bert Pieke. Found it in the manual as well, 8x FLT files pffft 😅 but now I have the pod. KInd of lazy from the dev though that a plane of this fidelity and price doesn't have a clickspot (transceiver CB?) to toggle the whole radar system on or off: No transceiver pod, no radar.
