If version 36.0.0 gives error 88 => reinstall pls

Recommended Posts

I've just downloaded and installed this latest version. When I run it, it displays a message about a missing 'Project' file on another drive that I don't currently use, and then aborts.

Just ran into this exact issue and why is it mandatory to install the latest and now it does not run at all, paid for RealTraffic and it does not work without this.  I do not have a D:\Projects\Data folder, so what I did to get this to work, copy the data folder from your install (just search for airports_msfs.xml) and copy that folder (luckily I already had a D Drive, you may not or would have to do a Windows workaround by subst windows command, look it up) and made a Projects/data folder there.  PSXT runs normally then.  Waiting for the developers fix.

Hope this helps in the meantime.

Yoiu should not have used a D:\Projects data folder. PSXT_MSFS expects the data folder as subfolder of PSXT_MSFS... ???

Another drive? the data folder your mean...

Do you have a ..\PSXT_MSFS\data\airports_msfs.xml   file? If not try a clean install after you have saved your updated_airports folder. .

kiek it looks like something wrong with your code looking for a Projects folder that doesn't exist on our machines. Maybe you can look into it please?

Yes I do. But PSXT is looking for something on another drive for some reason.
