The Blue/White Silver paintjob looks the best IMO!

Pleased to report that Version 1.1 of the Spartan 7W has been uploaded. This version addresses the main issue of ground handling plus additional needed fixes as reported.

Anyone in limbo about buying this airplane after this important update. Have no fears.  The ground handling has been substantially improved and the rollouts are extremely tame. The flight dynamics got some attention as one can do stalls and falls without entering an uncontrollable spin. If you get yourself into a spin, more than likely you can recover. A couple of instances it seemed I lacked the rudder authority .. perhaps I waited too late. The departure stalls were fun while the approach to landing ones seemed non existence. With everything hanging out, the plane sort of mushed along, never broke, even when jerking the stick back. I can't speak if this is realistic or not. I don't suppose it is.. but I can't speak as to how accurate this is.

As a cruiser it purrs along nicely following the magenta line and the LOC/GS should you need to get up for a few. It hand flies very well and easy to maintain track and altitude.

A tremendous upgrade and shouldn't give anyone pause for experiencing this delightful, excellent rendition of the Spartan. Truly a classic. Super kudos to the developer for following this through. A definite labor of love.

If I may add to this. Maintaining the centreline on take off and landings now is very comfortable. Taxing is very realistic when adding power. The plane trims out nicely and is very stable in cruise. Response to all control surface inputs is very realistic and smooth. No surprises. AP function with the KAP 140 is as good as it gets. The developer listened and has done justice with Version 1.1.
