Well it's not greyed out on my side.

CORRECTION:  it WAS greyed out for me, even with DLSSG=1 in user.cfg.  And I was getting great performance BUT I was NOT using Frame Generation, even tho I believed I was. Let me explain …

3 days ago I upgraded my RTX3070ti to a 4070ti.  My primary goal was to enable FG in MSFS with no DLSS, only TSS and FG.  I thought I had accomplished that in DX11 but I was wrong. After reading these forums and some feedback to my posts of the past three days I decided to do some due diligence.  When I enabled DX12, my FG was NOT greyed out, and it showed FG as active with TSS and DX12. Now checking my frames with FG AND DX12 I see about 120FPS, 99% 110FPS and about 15-20 latency (varies).  THESE are the frame rates that Nvidia FG delivers and the good news for me is it is capable without the use of DLSS, the use of which tends to cause blurry gauges on flight sims. No blurry gauges for me and the good news to all is that the Frame Goodness that you seek with your investment in a 40XX series card is available and ready…with the right settings 😇😇😇

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. So very glad to have Nvidia Frame Generation with TSS working on my PC.  Currently flying the Fenix a320 over California at 120FPS. Amazing.
