Best* Airbus Addon for FSX(se)

Featured Replies

Hi yall,

I am curious if anyone has a recommendation for an airbus addon that hits that blend of systems depth and good fps performance for a lower-spec pc?

My 2.6ghz laptop can't handle Aerosoft's line, but would Justflight's F-lite series be an acceptable trade-off? Perhaps even the freeware Project Airbus lineup would be the better solution???

I know Blackbox and Wilco?? make a baby-bus lineup, but I have heard they are not worth the pain.

Any thoughts??

Are you sure your laptop is running at 2.6 GHz, and not throttling? I have installed all known FSX buses in my laptop (Wilco, Aerosoft, Blackbox, even CLS and the FSL A320 in P3D; specs in signature), but looks like I'm demanding too much from my sim, because I can't keep the 30 FPS I want with the quality I want. I had to go down to FS9.

If you have to try, use the Project Airbus one. At least there's no money to lose there.

Hey thanks for the response,

I thiiink that 2.6ghz is full beans for my rig (2016 HP Omen laptop), but it carries on  surprisingly well. I run ORBX, Freemeshx, A2A aircraft (p40 and cub), PMDG MD11 (gotta turn down the graphics tho) so I think it can handle a little bit of fun. *fingers crossed*

Thoughts on the Wilco Airbus line? Blackbox? I hear they require alil tweaking, but can be real good after troubleshooting.

I use the project Airbus on windows XP,!   It is the best plane I have . I think it is great. I use it with the Honeywell fmc. My fps is set at 30. only big cities reduce it.

In My Opinion...I use the Freeware Project Airbus. Much more detail than many of the Payware ones. Project Airbus did a great job in making their Aircraft. VERY detailed. Go with Project Airbus.
