New Web CDU: FSS E-Jets

Hello @ll,

a new Web CDU has been uploaded to the AxisAndOhs.com website. This one is for the recently released FSS E-Jets (Embraer E170/175)

At the moment there are Web CDUs for the following aircraft:

  • PMDG 737 (all sims)
  • PMDG 747 (all sims)
  • Aerosoft CRJ (all sims)
  • Leonardo SH MadDog (all sims)

  • FBW A320 experimental (MSFS)
  • FSS E-Jets (MSFS)
  • Asobo CJ4 (MSFS)
  • Asobo 747 (MSFS)
  • Asobo 747 Salty Mod (MSFS)
  • Asobo 787 (MSFS)
  • WT CJ4 (MSFS)
  • JustFlight 146 (MSFS)
  • DC Design Concorde (MSFS)
  • Azurepoly Transall (MSFS)

Please bear in mind that these are all hobby projects. If something doesn't work, please let me know. Some of the MSFS packages are "sluggish" because of the way that they work. So if you are after the snappiest performance, these are probably not for you.

The older Web FMC/CDU packages will be updated in the coming weeks and then use a more lightweight integration. But they are working right now.

I wish. Since this was the same developer as with the CRJ, I was hoping for the same API to get the CDU screen data. Sadly, that API is confirmed missing in the ATR ( by the developer himself).

Does the 787 webpage still work with the new AAU2?

No. In fact, none of the CDU for aircraft updated by WT is working anymore (747, 787, CJ4). At the moment it is doubtful if it will be possible and/or feasible to get them working again. The WT method of handling CDUs is very resource intensive compared to what Asobo initially did, so even if it is possible to stream them, they may just be too sluggish.

I've already figured out the CJ4 and the 747, currently working on the 787. But I don't like what I'm seeing. Especially with the 787 where all input events have changed and in part disappeared (LSKs...). This instrument is "mouse-only" now.

Having something would still be better than nothing. Thanks for your work!

OK, so the first three "post AAU2" CDUs are available for download. Make sure to remove any remnants of the previous package (Community folder and \WebPages\ folder)

747, 787 and CJ4

I haven't used webpages for a while but I tired the new 787 and got 404 not found on this link

http://localhost:9080/webapi/b787fmc/index.html

Hmmm I just can't get anything to display on the CDU. I removed logitech Ghub so I could use default 9080 port but gave me the same thing.

So what are you seeing on the web page? Nothing at all? The button panels? What browser is in use? I've only tested it with Edge.

Are you in the MSFS beta? Pretty sure the package will only work with that.

The "zzz..." Addon Package has been copied to your Community folder? AAO is running "As Administrator"?

I would change the port anyway. Use the dialog in AAO. Make sure to change the port in all the assets that are being listed, using the button "Set port" after you've selected them in the list.

Nah I see all the buttons etc just not the CDU screen

Tried chrome and edge

Yep in the beta with the AAU2

Can you confirm the zzz folder? the one that comes with the webpage zip?

Yes running as admin

As it says in the readme, the zzz- goes into your Community folder. If you changed the port, it must be changed in there too - but the package should show up on the port-changing-dialog in AAO. No need to edit any file manually.
