My P3Dv5 is crashing and closing when I change the plane's cameras (with the letter s). I have tested with the PMDG 777-300er and 787 Quality Wings and other planes (paid and free).

Have no answer to ur problem, but maybe u should consider Chase Plane addon - i use it for years and had no issues, and frankly cannot imagine not using it

Suggest clearing the shader chache. If that doesn't solve it, have you upgraded your video driver recently? Any other changes? I'm sure others with way more knowledge on these things will help too.

Yes I have the latest nvidia driver and windows updates. I will try to clear the cache.

I never had a problem with Chaseplane, I will consider it as the possible cause and test

Unfortunately the problem persists 😞

Does it occur at different airfields and/or at different times?  If you switch the camera view to point at an object with a bad texture (usually happens with an AI plane with a corrupted texture, which might even be way off in the distance) this can happen.

You could also try renaming your cameras.cfg file and (I think) P3D should rebuild a new one.  If not, just restore the old one.

Hello, I just installed the game again and I'm going to give it a try. I'll see if the reason for the crash was some addon too. I will let you know if I manage to resolve the issue.

Thanks for the attention guys. It looks like the problem was something to do with my graphics settings.

Can anyone help me please i’m having a problem like this, basically when i load up p3d i can look around the cockpit and evetytbing but as soon as i use chase plane to go to a external view e.g. wing view etc my game stops working and crashes but i have no error to be found, i’ve tried using pmdg 777, 737 and the fslabs a320 but it seemed to be working last week completely fine not sure what’s going on.
