June 1, 20233 yr To be honest guys I am totally confused, as I understood it, these special prices were at a reduced price for the first orders that were placed. However, at this stage you had to register your interest. Of course as many, many did, I registered for this product, only to find out that this new company are connected to a Kickstarter funded website, this means they have to raise the money to get them built. As Charliearon said, based on the amount of interest they have had, so far their expectations have far exceeded the interest. Plus I feel it could be risky, will anyone get a unit? I would like to think so. However, there is know where where you can actually place an order. I seen things like this before, and the product never happened. I hope I am wrong. Does anyone have a head-up on this?
June 1, 20233 yr Administrators I read that no product will be available until November. That's why I posted the caution. Does anyone have a head-up on this? Unfortunately, it seem like a lot of people had no previous experience with Kick Starter before this so a lot of this is becoming a shock to some. I've pledged to a few Kick Starter campaigns in the past and thankfully, all have delivered on their goods. However, that is not always the case and the biggest risk! Right now there is no place to place an order other than what they are offering on Kick Starter. As of the time of my post, there appears to be some $159 and $199 pledges still available. If you choose to pledge, you have to accept the risk that they might not deliver. Hopefully they deliver on their promises and we get an awesome new piece of gear for our simpits! 🙂 Edited June 1, 20233 yr by ShadowN7
June 10, 20232 yr So Kickstarter was to have people commit to the units correct? So do the actually have the units or are they still in research and development stage
June 12, 20232 yr (Caveat re: whether the miniFCU will happen, yadda, yadda) Good news today in that the miniCockpit team has said that their miniFCU will be partially compatible with the Fenix A320 in MSFS. While it won't display the selected numbers, the rest of the unit's functions will apparently work with the Fenix airliner. Given the limitations imposed by ProSim on Fenix Sim, this is probably as good as it's going to get. What I like about this (despite the non-functioning displays) is how the miniFCU is far more realistic looking and cheaper than the other compatible A320 FCU: VRInsight's FCU Combo II.Source: https://fselite.net/content/minicockpit-confirm-product-compatibility-with-fenix-simulations-a320/ Edited June 12, 20232 yr by F737MAX AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440) Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter
