July 8, 20232 yr Note: the normal Nvidia Control Panel allows tuning shader cache off globally, but not for a single application. This is why we need Nivdia Profile Inspector, so we can turn of the shader cache for MSFS alone. --- Nvidia Profile Inspector: https://github.com/Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector/releases Download it. Run it. Don't change any Global settings. Instead, Find Microsoft Flight Simulator from the drop down menu, and select it (that is what Microsoft calls MSFS 2020). Under Common: turn OFF Shadercache-Cachesize (Don't turn OFF the shader cache with Global selected, only with Microsoft Flight Simulator selected). -- Now it is off and will stay off. -- You still need to delete the NVIDIA DX cache files from time to time. C:\Users\(YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\NVIDIA Don't delete folders inside the above folder. Instead, delete all the files that you can.
