There isn’t a v5.3HF3. 5.3HF2 was recently updated to v5.4.

But the change from 5.3HF1 to 5.3HF2 was significant. Check the [Job Scheduler] section of your Prepar3D.cfg.

Post it here together with your CPU and whether you have Hyperthreading enabled. It’s possible you don’t have optimal settings for your CPU.

Thanks Ray, perhaps I confused the nomenclature but I have it saved in my LM source folder as 5.3 HF3. The actual version number is 5.3.17.28160.

As to Proc I am running an i5 12600K, no overclock and HT is enabled.  As an aside when I had my 9700K  turned HT off as it improved experience but I find that HT is integral to the i5’s and I just leave it on.

@btacon, I don’t have access to my PC at present but I’ll check version number tomorrow.

I asked if you could post that section of your Prepar3D.cfg as it will confirm if the values determined by LM are correct or not. They won’t necessarily be so. They are important in ensuring the load on your CPU is as balanced as possible.

That's the latest build number in the 5.3 version and is Actually V5.3HF2 .

Thx, I stand corrected. Working well too!

Braun, try substituting 255 with 2730 and see how that performs.

The value of 255 is not appropriate for your CPU with Hyperthreading enabled.

2730 will enable one virtual processor in each physical core. If it’s better, great. If it isn’t just revert to 255.

You could also try 1365.
