June 13, 20232 yr Hi, Just about to get the trial and then buy as this looks really good. Trying to find out things before I start. I wondered if Pilot2ATC interacts with the Live Traffic plugin in X-Plane in the same way as it would with the stock AI aircraft - this would be really good as Live traffic displays real life flights as AI aircraft. Would greatly increase the realism. It won't stop me buying but it would be good to know if it does interact. Thanks Dave
June 13, 20232 yr P2A doesn't interact with any AI program. It sees the traffic but does not control it.
June 13, 20232 yr Commercial Member It does give alerts and tries to avoid causing a collision with AI Traffic on takeoff, etc. And yes, AFAIK, it does interact with Live Traffic in the same way as with other AI Traffic. Dave

Dave I wish this were the case - I am still not getting any P2ATC to see Traffic Global 😕
June 25, 20232 yr Commercial Member Traffic Global definitely works. You have to follow the instructions in the P2A Installation guide for installing P2A_XPLink and set Traffic Global TCAS to on in its Settings. Dave

I can always see the TG on P2ATC map (ground and air), but P2ATC does not offer any advisories. I would like to see it working if you have videos... I need proof lol
June 25, 20232 yr Commercial Member Make sure your Vertical Separation and Horizontal Alert Proximity settings in Config/AI Traffic are large enough to include the traffic you're seeing in the air. You won't get any alerts for Ground Traffic or while you are on the ground. A search for "Pilot2ATC Traffic Global" should get you some videos. Dave Edited June 25, 20232 yr by Dave-Pilot2ATC
