Sound Micro Stutters

Featured Replies

When landing right after right before landing I get stutter that kills the simulation. Could this be a driver issue? I just dont get it. New install from scratch BTW.

Same here, drives me insane. Looking forward to hearing people’s suggestions.

I mainly fly the PMDG 737 and Fenix A320. It will happen 8 out of 10 landings. For me this does not happen when flying less complex aircraft like the C152/C172 etc.

Check to see if there's drive activity when this happens - probably as it loads all the additional data for the airport.

What fixed it for me was:

1) Checking that your power profile was set to high performance.
2) Disabling any unused sound devices in Device Manager.
3) Dropping to a lower resolution sound profile (to CD in my case).

It kills me when in the PMDG and it calls 100 , 50tyyyyyyyy, 30rtttttttty 20tttttttty, Some of the coding I have seen cannot be correct.. I have said for the longest, scale the draw down when taking off and landing pleeeeeeeaaase. They did that with FSX 20 years ago. Make it a slider and let us decide based on our setup. When there is a smooth transition to landing why do I need to care if POI is drawn, IM LANDING...DONT CARE...Help
