PMDG 737NGXu Lot of Cockpit not Working

Recommended Posts

Ok folks, another problem, this time with PMDG 737NGXu 800 and a lot of the cockpit clickables not clickable.

I installed it into V6 using the reg.hack which I have used for other non V5 addons, over the years, so fairly ofay with it.

The problem I have is that while the aircraft loads and is live, a lot of the cockpit buttons/switches are not available and

appear just not useable. ie. the recall button/ the master caution/the panel light controls/ etc.

The same with the overhead panel, some work others don't. I'd say about 50/50.

The 'hand' just does not apper when hovering over them.

Any ideas,please?

It is also a problem with the Majestic Q400 for v6 as well. Glad it helped.

Thanks David, that did the trick all working now.

But how I hate the fuzziness of mipmapped VCs!

I suppose there's no pleasing some people. 😄

I don't have PMDG in v6,  I have  it in v5 so don't know how to make that work.

Yes, I also turn mipmap off, and did so in v6 and had the trouble with the Q400, bit that is a bug since it waa updated for v6 and will be fixed.

Sorry I can't help further

No, not at all David. You have been a great help at least now I can operate the plane in V6.

It's just that it looks like as if I need to go to specsavers.😁😁

Gents, this useful tip might be best served in the P3D Tips and Tricks subforum.

Otherwise it will soon disappear from the topics under discussion.

Good idea @Ray Proudfoot maybe @DavidP will post it there, I don't want to 'rob' his valuable tip.

On another point, as anybody managed to get the over wing views on the 737 in V6 similar to what they were in V5+ ?

If so maybe you would share how and also the camera settings, please?

This puzzled me for a couple of seconds, (what would I check for?), until I realised that checking in American English means "ticking" in British English.😉

Hi Sparkprite,

You need to open the file "aircraft" in the PMDG folder in SimObject folder? You search for the lines [CameraDefinition.00X]. Then you just have to add +1 to the first positive  figure in InitialXyz. For example:

before InitialXyz = 1.750, 2.050, -6.000

after InitialXyz = 2.750, 2.050, -6.000

When the figure is negative, you add -1. InitialXyz = -1.750, 2.050, -6.000 ----> InitialXyz = -2.750, 2.050, -6.000

It works form me as in P3D V5.

Regards,

Hervé
