July 25, 20232 yr Hi All, I realise that this has been raised before and is something that the developers are aware of, I seem to have fallen into the unfortunate potentially small group of people who are affected by the no sound in the cockpit or actually in the walkaround. I have reinstalled the aircraft, and checked that the service is running in my tray. I also have changed the soundcard to the correct setting in the A2A service tab and restarted the flight. Still not got any sound. I am using Windows 10 and did run the installer as admin. I do get a few windows warnings about blocking the software, this may be the cause of the problem ,although I have gone in and allowed the blocked files access. My problem is that it would seem that most if not in all cases the sounds not playing are a result of the A2A service tab not launching correctly and not running, this is not the case for me though as it is running and visible in the tray. I know that one option is to do with the Fenix, although a Fenix developer came onto the A2A have said they don't believe its them, but may instead be related to the Maddog (I don't own this product though) and again is more to do with the launching of the services tab and as I said mine launches fine. Did anyone have anything similar happen (i.e. service running but still not got any sound)? I have checked: Windows 10 up to date MSFS up to date Installed under admin A2A service running A2A service showing correct soundcard Windows Audio mixer checked and A2A showing and volume turned up Tablet volumes set to max Sim sounds are working (external sounds of aircraft etc) Have I missed anything obvious? I am running FSLTL although not heard anyone finding anything there. Many thanks, Anthony Anthony Milner
July 25, 20232 yr Author Hey Bob, Yeah I was just reading through that when you sent it over, sadly I still seem to have completed all those steps and still no sounds. It does not appear to be related to the A2A services launching as that appears to be doing so. Only thing I can think of is after changing to the correct sound card in the services tab, I just restarted the flight (as this is what it says to do) and not restarted the whole sim. Mainly because it was fast approaching midnight at this stage and I was getting frustrated at the long MSFS load times. Spent nearly 2 hours trouble shooting last night and every time having to restart the sim meant additional time twiddling my thumbs waiting! I'll try again tonight! Nothing worse than having to go away defeated! haha! Anthony Milner
July 25, 20232 yr Anthony, I went through a very similar and frustrating experience a few nights ago. One difference is that I am running Windows 11 but still followed all the trouble shooting tips and still no sound. I found that the final solution was to disable Bluetooth on my PC as someone else in the household had been using Bluetooth headphones earlier in the day. Voila, problem seems to be fixed. Not sure if that's helpful for you but maybe something you should check? Bob B.

Sadly I don't even think my PC has Bluetooth available and its only me that uses it, so that one is also out. I have seen someone post similarly on the A2A forum. They also appear to be in a similar position as I am, the only difference is it does appear to be some sort of bluetooth issue for them. My headphones are wired USB port headphones so that rules that out. I will retry later today to see if its just a case of a new day full sim restart after changing the sound setting on the A2A services tab that does the trick! As I said thats the only thing I didn't do, a full sim restart after the adjustment as the warning just said something like please restart flight for the change to come into affect. Perhaps they meant restart the flightsim? Thanks again though! Anthony Milner
July 25, 20232 yr I saw somewhere that someone had to reinstall DirectX and that fixed their problem, but I can't find the thread now. I can't remember if it was here or another forum.
