Hi there, this is my first forum post and was just wondering if there is a way to use the zoom in/out feature without holding down the scroll wheel button. In other games such as MSFS and XP i have found it much easier to zoom in and out freely whilst not holding down the button, im not sure if this is a chase plane thing or p3d thing. I know this isnt a bug but does anyone know how to change this?

I don't need to hold, just use scroll wheel.

Maybe check ur mouse settings.

I use warthog setup and I have the "pinkie" paddle on joystick set as Zoom. It's called "binocular" and you can adjust the zoom level. Just hold it in, use it and, let go when thru. I guess you might be talking about from an external view. Don't know anything about that.

In settings, other controls there is the "enable advanced mouse controls". In chase plane it drove me nuts until I figured out how to disable the zoom by unchecking that option.
