    Thanks! I ran a quick test earlier commanding random switches and it seemed to work just fine.

  • Actually what is called Demo on the website is in fact the full version if you have the license. At least it was when I downloaded it.

  • Thanks for the report. Here is the option. Default enabled. Set 0 to disable AutoNotifyOnSilentFlowStart=0

I have an issue with the doors of the Fenix.

I use GSX for boarding, but do not use MCE to interact with GSX (I use the GSX menu). I have "Auto Door Simulation" in the Fenix turned off.

After boarding is completed and GSX has closed the doors, the main passenger door and/or the front cargo door keep going open and close all the time. It only stops when pushback starts. When I close MCE the issue disappears immediately so it seems that MCE is responsible for this behaviour.

I tried with both

NoPaxDoorsAutoHandling=1 or =0
NoCargoDoorsAutoHandling=1 or =0

Makes no difference.

Before the Fenix V2 update and the corresponding MCE update I never had this issue.

Please re-download new patch. Same link above.

MCE still keeps opening and closing the doors in the Fenix after GSX has completed boarding and closed the doors. Version 3.0.58.

It appears GSX is now also handling the doors automatically.

Because it takes a few seconds for the door to be confirmed as open or closed, you end-up with revolving doors

You could disable door handling in mce.ini

[RAMP]

NoPaxDoorsAutoHandling=1
NoCargoDoorsAutoHandling=1

Unfortunately, this will apply to all supported planes as well.

Maybe could have a longer delay before periodically checking door state. We'll see.

As I mentioned earlier, I already have these lines set to 1 in my mce.ini. It makes no difference in the Fenix.

Might be just a coincidence but I just made two flights from a remote position without a jetway and the issue did not occur. Now again at a position with a jetway and the doors go off and on again. So maybe it is related to the handling of a jetway.

Just to bump this up after a year.

MCE (v.3.0.96) still keeps opening and closing all kinds of doors in the Fenix during pushback. Since the latest update of the Fenix MCE even opens the overwing emergency exit. The only way to stop it is to exit and restart MCE.

N.B. I already have set

Which exact Fenix A320 version are we talking about. I just noticed they now have a small setup program which downloads files. Will install new package.

V3.0.9.6 was tested against V2.0.0.407 of the plane.

Doors typically have IDs and if these change, MCE ends-up toggling the wrong one.

We normally never handle emergency exits. Only main doors and cargo doors.

The current Fenix Version is v2.2.0.232.

Apart from MCE handling the wrong doors because apparently the IDs have changed, my main concern is why MCE handles the doors at all when I have set

[RAMP]

NoPaxDoorsAutoHandling=1
NoCargoDoorsAutoHandling=1

With the GSX integration of the Fenix it is not necessary for MCE to handle the doors at all.

I still see the same behaviour as before.

There are 2 separate things with doors.

Normal operation using voice commands which still works, but nothing happens unless you speak those commands or added them to a flow.

Automatic operation resulting from GSX updating its Lvars indicating action must be taken on a specific door (Similar to green bar notifications in P3D or FSX when catering trucks arrive) . These are the ones that get disabled with option set to 1 in ini file. I mean automatic reaction to GSX instructions.

EDIT: Just in case, the options are expected under [RAMP] section and NOT [OPTIONS]

I have these settings under [RAMP].

Still MCE erratically opens all kinds of doors including the overwing emergency exit and the bulk cargo door. That continues until shortly after starting to taxi. Even closing and restarting MCE doesn't help anymore. First thing MCE does after restart is opening doors again.

I just need MCE to completely refrain from any automatic handling of any doors when using GSX and the Fenix.

I'm not questioning your observation, just puzzled.

Have updated GSX to very latest and MCE definitely not touching service doors when catering trucks arrive with GSX seemingly handling them.

I did notice when boarding, GSX stating "waiting for your action open open aft cargo door, open fwd cargo door" and MCE not taking any action because of the "NoCargoDoorsAutoHandling=1 ".

No emergency door was opened.

Is there a setting that actually gets GSX (or in Fenix options) to handle all doors automatically which I may not have enabled.

I assume you replaced both mce.exe" and "Simco64_Ldr.exe

I have GSX on default settings.
