October 25, 200718 yr What happens if you install Acceleration and don't activate it? Does it completely disable FSX or just the new features that Acceleration installs? If the latter, does FSX SP2 work or does it revert to an FSX SP1 state? The reason that I ask is that I have two computers, each with a legal copy of FSX. I only want to buy one copy of Acceleration, install and activate it on one computer for full Acceleration and SP2 functionality and install and not activate it on the second computer so that it just gets the early upgrade to SP2. Will this work?Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
October 25, 200718 yr Not sure to the first question, as I activated my copy right away, but I don't remember getting a prompt to install sp2, I think it just installed automatically. I also searched the disk, and could not find a separate sp2.exe or such file. I didn't spend a lot of time looking though. -Scotty

October 25, 200718 yr Paul,As I don't have Acceleration yet, I can't see what's in the readme.html file. Can you please post the relevant section of that file, or PM it to me. Thanks.Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
October 25, 200718 yr Author Gary,This is all the readme has to say:You must install and activate Flight Simulator X before installing Flight Simulator X: Acceleration. Once you install Flight Simulator X: Acceleration, you must activate your copy of the expansion pack. You can activate the product over the Internet using the Activation Wizard at the end of the installation. The Activation Wizard will appear every time you start Flight Simulator X: Acceleration until you activate the program. Until you activate the program, you can only use the product for 30 minutes each session. Not all to helpful I'm afraid.
