I have REX Skyforce and there's certain settings you need to enable for the best sun effects: I don't know if ENVPLUS by TOGA is the same way but it's likely it's got similar settings. If you're not using any sky textures then I strongly recommend you buy either Skyforce or ENVPLUS, it will greatly enhance clouds, sky, sun, moon and other things making everything look so much better. REX Sky Force sets the moon size to 6072 from a stock setting of 900. I noticed that I had a huge, unrealistic moon and checked the suneffect.cfg file. Even if you unselect Moon Textures, the program still modifies the suneffect.cfg file and changes the moon size. Dave I've used Skyforce and other REX products for years, first with FSX, now with P3Dv5 and I've always enjoyed their pretty texture packs with endless combinations. I had noticed the Skyforce moon always seems to look bigger, now I know it really is. I actually quite like the big, pretty moon during my night flights even if it's not the most realistic it still looks really cool. I don't know if ENVPLUS comes with a moon or not or if it's more realistic or even if there's any other moon textures out there. I've thought of trying ENVPLUS textures just out of curiosity, I figure I could always add them to my endless combination of textures. At least with P3Dv5 I can crank up the all the textures to the maximum size without worrying about VAS. 4K clouds and moon, heck yeah! 😃 Edited September 5, 20232 yr by Kalnon

Let P3D re-create it. There is a section in that file that relates to the sun under [Lensflare.1]. You can probably mess around with the size and sunglow parameters.
