September 5, 20232 yr Hello, I have installed a second NVMe M.2 SSD on my system and it's not getting recognized in BIOS. I have a NVMe SSD (500 GB) where Windows is installed (C:), I have a 500 GB SSD where MSFS2020 is installed (D:) and a 2TB HDD where all my other stuff is installed (E:). Since I was running out of space on my (D:) drive, I decided to buy a 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD and clone my MSFS2020 install to the new one drive. My motherboard (Asus Z390 Prime-A) has two M.2 slots. I have my OS drive installed on the M2_2 socket and installed the new one on the M2_1 socket. Both are Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD. Is there some kind of incompatibility I am not aware of or is it just a matter of configuring my BIOS properly? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance. Regards, Hugo Bravo LPPT
September 5, 20232 yr Swap the two drives in the M.2 slots. is the same drive detected in the bios or the new one when you swap them over? It's either the slot or the drive that needs checking. Maybe I didn't install it properly into the socket the first time. What matters now is that it's working. Thank you again. Regards, Hugo Bravo LPPT
September 5, 20232 yr You're probably to this point already but in windows if it does not show up, you will need to go to "disk management" to enable it.
