Panels on second screen

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

We are going forward on our project. Here is a quick introduction to it :

We began to create our simulator and we finally purchase everything and define what we want to do for kids and adults (scenario, duration, difficulties, explaination...)

We planned for the first scenario to take off from our airport, Paris Le Bourget and land at Paris Orly with the A320.

Basic flight is easy for all of us here. We know how to turn and coordinate with the engine. But we receive lot of people who never have done even this.

So, one will be focusing on the piloting and the other one on the engines. But I can't succeed to put the second screen with the panel fully on it. I have used the second screen + offset but it doesn't give a view as satisfying as when we focus on the panel as we can do on the main screen.

Do you know any add-on that would allow me to see what I have on the 3rd picture I have taken to be on the second small screen ? I haven't found anything satisfying.

Thank you for your help

(Sorry, I did not made a proper screen print, take time and it is already boiling in my office to spend more energy 😄 )

Hi,

I use popout panel manager whenever I crank up the flight deck, it works great. One thing to keep in mind so you don't have any loading issues once setup. Make sure you set yourself up in the  3D flight deck so you have a nice view of all the gauges you want to pop out. Save this position in MS2020 so you can recall it whenever you want.

I use keypad 8 for my exterior view and I use 2 for my 3D panel view so I can pop out the panels, I then go back to my outside view to fly.

You'll find you'll have issues popping out panels if you are in a different position or zoom level in the 3D flight deck from when they were originally saved.

Thank you so much and dorry for the late answer ever. It seems that I have small other duty to do at work. 😉

Anyway, I am trying "MSFS Popout Manager" first as it is easier as we do not have to buy a licence. We are a public organism and there is, and it is a good things, rule to follow for buying and it will take much more time to test but I will try it also when we will have a bundle of software to buy.
