September 11, 20232 yr Flying some ILS last night using the FSI panel. There were some good storms out there. Went to KDEN, KPHL, KLGA, etc. All the weather stations were reporting CB and rain clouds etc. There was none in MSFS. So I loaded REX weather and it was just perfect. Can someone verify there is weather or not in the beta. Just curious. I know there are still drops in FPS with REX engine that continue to happen but dang the weather is so good and realistic. Is there a trick to get weather using the default engine? Oh and lighting is every approach last night with REX. Have not seen that is a while. Chris Chiozza

September 12, 20232 yr I had accurate default wx today on a 3.2 hour Hjet flight from Monterey, Calif. to Ft Worth Alliance, TX. The Hjet (WT AAUI2) G3000 wx radar relatively closely matched the live radar I had on my iPad with the Fltplan Go app, which is real-world real-time aviation. I keep REX WF at hand in case MSFS wx tanks, but have not had to reach for it recently. September 12, 20232 yr Author It is actually xenviro. Used it in xp On 9/9/2023 at 1:08 PM, Fielder said: I had the issue yesterday. Like above, rejoining the beta quickly solved the issue. And then leaving the beta again may not have the issue again. Otherwise, I knew deleting those two files would mean a quick 2 minute or less wait for MSFS to search for updates and reinstall them. 1 hour ago, fppilot said: Been in flught simulation since 1982 and never heard of it. September 12, 20232 yr Check your settings. I was wondering why the altimeter was 29.92 everywhere and discovered live weather had reverted to the partly cloudy preset when I wasn't looking. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
